- How is my password kept private if there is no server?
- The password you choose is used directly in your browser to encrypt the PDF via the Web Crypto API. It is never sent anywhere, including to Foliqo itself.
- What can a password protect against?
- You will be able to restrict opening, printing, and editing of the exported PDF, matching the permission options found in desktop PDF software.
